Community & Education

Outside my normal work, I stay active in the local design community and in education

Talks and events

I speak regularly at company events, design communities, and schools on UX and accessibility, and how design can help people. I have held talks at Malmö Design Salons and local interaction design communities, and presented at Malmö University on the industry and design practice, where I also joined their industry panel.

Mentoring

I mentor students and interns from several schools and programs, including Malmö University and the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. At Malmö University, I have mentored interaction design and product design students, and supervised thesis projects, both bachelor's and master's, across technical and design-based subjects.

Interns and school development

I take on interns from these schools as needed, in particular from EC UTbildninga, where I served on the board for several years. There I helped ensure the school program stayed as strong as possible, contributing to recruitment and student feedback, which helped steer the direction of the program and brought many talented interns into our teams.
